N66G14T1HSL GY is a nylon 6.6 composition, reinforced with 14% glass fiber, impact modified using reactive alloying to provide exceptional practical toughness, combined with high strength and rigidity, and excellent retention of heat deflection temperature. This product is pigmented grey and contains a heat stabilizer package which provides resistance to the effects of prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures. Parts molded from this compound possess excellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals, oils, solvents and greases, even at high temperatures, and can be successfully used in such harsh environments as automotive under-hood. This composition offers easy flow and excellent melt stability during injection molding, and can be processed successfully using a wide range of melt and molding tool temperatures to suit a variety of tool configurations and production requirements. The product is internally lubricated for ease of mold release.
